Biography

Hello to all of our Blessed John XXIII family! I am very excited to be acting as Vice Principal at this dynamic school for my second year. Prior to being at Blessed John XXIII I served as Assistant Principal at Our Lady Queen of Peace School, in Airdrie, for 5 years. I also taught at St. Bede for 6 years, and in Toronto for 6 years before that. Apparently, I'm getting old. Aside from my duties in the office, I also enjoy teaching math to 2 of our grade 8 classes.

My life outside of school is very busy as well. My wife is a teacher with the district, and we have 3 sons who attend school with Calgary Catholic as well. Our youngest son began Kindergarten this year, and it's a lot of fun to watch how excited he is to go to school each day. Hopefully your kids feel that way too!
All of our boys play soccer all year round, and our oldest also plays football. Therefore, most of our 'free' time involves driving to sports events, watching sports events, driving from sports events, talking about sports events...Luckily, I love sports!

Please feel free to contact me, or have your son or daughter come to see me if they are experiencing any difficulty at school. We want to make sure that every student has a wonderful experience at Blessed John XXIII.
