Biography

I am so excited to be starting my second year at Blessed John XXIII. I had such a great experience last year getting to know and teach the students of John XXIII and can’t wait to get to know even more of you! I am teaching all the grade 8’s social studies this year as well as 7A language arts. I am also looking forward to working with our school’s breakdancing and danceworks students as well as coaching junior girl’s volleyball and wrestling!

I graduated from the University of Calgary with a major in Military and European History and a minor in Greek and Roman Studies. I then took a year off from school and backpacked around Europe. I would have to say that my favourite places were Prague, Salzburg, Munich, London and Paris. I then went back to the UofC to earn by BEd.

When I am not at school I really enjoy running, playing the piano, reading, travelling and getting together with friends and family to play games and eat big meals. I also love looking for new shoes and eating chocolate!
